Unlike most touch screens, this phone is tough despite its stylishly thin form factor. It is certified Military Specification 810F compliant for dust, shock, vibration, blowing rain, and more. The i1 is also WiFi capable to allow quick access to essential business applications from the Android Market such as email, mobile resource management, and GPS applications. Of course it includes Nextel's push to talk feature, which allows you to connect to another Nextel user locally within your Direct Connect calling area, nationwide from coast to coast and internationally between the U.S. and up to 5 countries. The i1 also offers all the high-end features smartphone users have come to expect; a 5.0 megapixel camera that captures video, stereo Bluetooth compatibility, a microSD card slot, and an MP3 player that will make other smartphones look not-so-tough.
